We came around 3:00 on a Saturday, there was 1 person already there but it was mostly empty. Sat immediately and our server was attentive and kind, made good conversation. I got chicken yaki soba (my go-to), while my friends got some ramen and sushi. We tried the Banana Tempura and it was delicious, fried banana with some vanilla ice cream and chocolate drizzle. I've been here many times and it's always been a good experience, I highly recommend coming here.
Cozy beautifully decorated restaurant with a welcoming staff and delicious food. We got Pork geyoza, sweet potato roll, eel & cucumber rolls, spicy crab roll & chicken tempura roll with fried cheese cake for dessert.
One of the finest joys in my life is the few times a month I get to come to this restaurant for a delicious meal. The food is amazing, the service is impeccable, the chairs are comfortable and the restaurant itself is very clean! I always recommend and will continue to recommend this restaurant to friends and family, oh also! The prices are amazing! VERY reasonable!!
The atmosphere is kind of drab, but it is clean and friendly. The food was top-notch. The sushi and sashimi were terrific, and they had a stellar selection of sake. Overlook the way this place looks and eat here. The food was awesome.
OMG! This place was just wow! Everything was super fresh and delicious! It just melts in your mouth!! 😍 Service is super quick and friendly staff. Had to wait about 15 mins for seating because the place was packed on a weekday!
Literally can not recommend this place more, so lucky to live nearby and am able to make this a regular dinner. If you haven’t gone it’s a must try; friendly people and amazing sushi, what’s not to love
Had a really good dinner here the other night. I got the dinner box and it was more food than I could eat but it was all delicious. Also has some flavored saki we both enjoyed. And for dessert we had fried cheesecake! The staff was great and I really liked the ambiance.
Visited Akanomi for the first time after hearing good reviews. The restaurant was bigger than I thought with a relaxing atmosphere. The waitress was friendly and gave us plenty of time to review the menu, didn’t make us feel rushed. I ordered the dinner box for $25.99 which was plenty of food. I didn’t even finish all the rice. I would definitely order again maybe even try a few sushi rolls. They had a very large selection in the menu.
Their ramen was really good and they have a bigger serving. Staff was accomodating.
Went here after reading the great reviews. Worth the hype. Great food and great prices. The staff is amazing and the atmosphere is great too. It was busy for a Tuesday night so best to reserve a table ahead of time specially for weekends.
